A massage born in the bathhouse
Across the Arab world, massage and the hammam have always gone together. After the heat and scrub of the bath, an attendant would knead the body with firm, rhythmic movements to release whatever tension remained. Our Arabic massage follows that tradition: broad palm pressure, deep kneading and long strokes with warm, lightly scented oil.
What it feels like
Steady and grounding. The rhythm is unhurried and consistent, which makes it easy to let go. Pressure sits between medium and firm and can be adjusted at any time.
Benefits
- Releases tension through the back, hips and legs
- Improves circulation after the warmth of the hammam
- Leaves skin soft after exfoliation
- Calms a busy mind
The Royal Hammam
For the full experience, reserve the Royal Hammam ritual: a Moroccan bath, then an Arabic massage, then the jacuzzi suite. About two and a half hours, and the most complete visit Eva offers.
Questions
Should I have the Moroccan bath first?
We recommend it. Freshly exfoliated, warm skin makes the massage feel deeper and the oil absorbs better.
Is Arabic massage firm?
It is medium to firm by default. Your therapist adjusts pressure to your preference.
Do your staff speak Arabic?
Yes, along with English, Russian, Thai, German and Hindi.
